This works great cause it shows both the MALE and FEMALE in the shirt. Although it doesnt show the FEMALEs full shirt, it does show the male, and it shows the shirt on the female. I would of asked the FEMALE to move her hair so it wasnt over the detail of the product. But otherwise its a good shot.
We are still using this, cause we don't have something better, but as you can see the most important part of this shoot is covered, the PRODUCT. Its extremely important to make sure the models and displaying the look for the product, not for them. This is a GREAT shot of the two, but doesnt do much for our product.
This works to show the logo off. It also works cause they also took a pic of it just sitting, so we had that as well.
This doesn't work because it doesn't show the shirt freely sitting on the model. It makes sense for her, if the pic was for her, but for the product, we wanna see how it makes her look, not having to alter.
This actually works really well. You see it worn on the person, and you see the hat. It doesn't show his face, but it doesn't have to. It shows the product off, plus gives a bit of mysterious feeling.
One thing that is wrong with this, is the background didnt come out as the white like the others.
Although we most likely won't see the lower section, this doesn't allow us to display the product with ease since the lower pants completely distract from the shirt. Also, the main part of the product is not displayed. The CHOOSE YOUR ATTITUDE is angled away from the camera not visible in the shot .

Great picture. But notice how fresh the shirt was. Its important to make sure the item is steamed, and prepped, so it looks new, clean, but not never worn. The photo is still usable, but something we can do better with.
These all are great examples of DO! None of them she has altered the products too much to where it gets in the way of displaying the product on her.
The ones above are great "NATURAL" "ACTION SHOTS" that work well.
The product grid is where all the Product images are placed. There is only 3 layouts for the product grid.

*The above is our end goal. In our photoshoots, our goal is to get as close as we can to the above to help keep each page as close to the same as possible.

Clearly display the design of the product, and how the product sits on the model.
Image #1 should exemplify the look from behind the person. This is to show how the product wears.
Image #2 should exemplify the look from on the side of the person. This is to show how the product wears on this person. Especially this look, there should be no manipulation of the product. It should sit as is to show the product on the person, rather than worrying how the person looks.
Image #3 should exemplify the look of a person in some sort of action. It be stretching, leaning down to grab something, mid stride, something to show a person in a natural moving stance.
Image #4 is the hero image. This is the most important image. This image should ALWAYS include both Female and Male in all our UNISEX products. Only in our specific Male and Female products should it only include the single model. This is to not only to show on the product page a full display of the product, but this would be used for the Collection page. This allows the customer to see not only the product, but see its UNISEX.
Image #5 & 6 are detail images. These should show the graphics up close, our hem tag location, assets like the kangaroo pocket and other pocket locations.
These images are for each variant color choice. These are 810 x 1080. These would be the LAYFLAT or product main shot.
The add to cart motivator is 256 x 63. It should be made as a Jpg. It should always try and not only be a direct motivational comment, but also lean the person towards purchasing. 10 Words max.
